Leylam

Leylam is a shawarma food chain located all over the Philippines, bringing Turkish and Filipino influences into their dishes for a unique, delightful experience.

As one of the graphic artists for their team, I had the opportunity to design multiple layouts to be used for marketing the brand, including posters, flyers, standees, and social media graphics.

Hanawrites

Hana Writes is a blog featuring multiple short stories above love and life. (Check out Hana Writes.)

This was a personal project. I was inspired by how she was able to come up with the blog name. "Hana" is actually a pun on her actual name; coincidentally, it also means flower in Japanese, hence the sakura-shaped petal in the logo.

As this is a blog for short stories, I found it suitable to have that aspect of her work represented by a "pen nib".

I've combined both of them together, and added an extra line at the tip to make it seem as if the petal nib is writing. Nifty, eh?

Metro Exhibit and Events

Metro Exhibit and Events is an events planning company based in Cebu City.

This one was interesting because at the core of event planning is really their people--how well they coordinate with one another to bring about a successful event.

So, with this in mind, we were able to create a logo that taps into that, all the while using the company's abbreviation MEE.

As such, "M" is comprised of two "E"s, facing one another as they work hand-in-hand for an event. The horizontal bar line is the "meeting table", where they discuss great ideas and work together for an event.

Star Candle Flyer Photo

Star Candle is a candle manufacturer/distributor based in Ozamiz City. As kalag-kalag was fast approaching, they decided to promote their candles through flyers.

So, to make the flyers more eye-catching and relevant to the occasion, we decided to take their bestselling candles for the season--the Star Vigil Candles--and photograph them in such a way that it reflects the warmth of a family lighting up candles for loved ones who have passed.

Handlettering Photo

Handlettering is my absolute favorite hobby.

Since I wanted to showcase my works on Instagram, I incorporated my product photography skills to create an atmosphere/theme for each, and complement the handlettering work itself.
